I’ve always dreamt of living somewhere with warm weather, close to the sea and not too far from my country. It’s been almost two years since I moved to the Athenian riviera and certainly it was not a decision I took lightly but thankfully it didn’t take me long to feel like home here. Friendly people, endless sun, good energy and a holiday vibe all year round! And then there is the warmth of the people which to me matters most, above all! They are so nice and relaxed, days so sunny, sunsets are stunning and the food way too delicious! Oh, and the sea just minutes away! 🙂
If you happen to be in Athens and you need some relaxation after visiting the city or you just want to have dinner in a restaurant with sea view, I will always recommend Athenian Riviera! It’s not only a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of the city but it’s also a fantastic holiday destination worth for the amazing views of natural beauty, wonderful beaches and incredible landscapes that will literally take your breath away! Well, I may be biased now as I live here and just love this area so much but it would just not be right to be in Athens and not visit this beautiful coast. It’s only half hour drive from the city centre and you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to elegant restaurants and tavernas overlooking the sea, classy hotels, posh coffee terraces, cool bars and naturally, lots of shops and chic boutiques.
If you are looking to book a trip to Greece next summer and haven’t yet decided where, Athenian Riviera is no doubt a wonderful place to spend your holiday. It may not have the charm of the Greek islands but it has another kind of beauty, a local charm you can’t always find on the islands overcrowded with tourists. And maybe this is what makes this place so special..It has an idyllic side still untouched by mass tourism so if you don’t like big crowds and all you need is relax and slow down, then Athenian Riviera may just be the perfect getaway. And if you like sea, nature, sandy beaches and good food, you need look no further! Just imagine swimming in crystal clear blue waters or driving on the palm lined boulevards and enjoy the stunning landscapes.. Or maybe biking along the seaside and then having a beachfront dinner overlooking the sunset.. Straight up magic!
