48 HOURS IN MILAN

I do love about Italy and its intense energy but to be honest Milan was not necessarily somewhere I had on my list of places to visit any time soon. If there is one Italian city I could never get enough of, it is rather Rome but since I haven't been to Milan for so long I was really exited to rediscover it during a recent two-day business trip. It was short but luckily I managed to steal a few hours to explore the city and take some pictures.

As my schedule was pretty tight I didn't have time to visit all the places I wanted to but thankfully the centre of Milan is quite small so I managed to walk around the main areas and simply enjoy the heartbeat of the city.

If you haven't visited yet, Milan truly is a charming place really worth getting to see. Think impressive architecture, luxury stores, street art, posh spots, refined restaurants and impossibly well dressed locals. Plus exceptionally good food. Essentially everything you could possibly want for a real Italian experience.

I absolutely love the sophisticated vibe and rhythm of this city - it's energising and incredibly inspiring. Everywhere you turn you breathe art and style. The beautiful buildings, the art galleries, the cool people, the hip cafes and that lively atmosphere in all those aperitivo places filled with so much good energy... I liked it all! Probably the hardest part was learning not to sit down while drinking espresso after so many hours of walking.

Here is a quick look at my 48 hours in Milan.
