If you like premium self tanners and haven’t already heard about Vita Liberata then let me introduce you! The brand is known for the luxury self tanners formulated with natural, organic extracts, free from parabens, perfume or chemicals. The most famous product of their range is Vita Liberata Phenomenal, the self tanner created to give you the longest lasting tan while taking care of your skin.
While reading through the ingredients I am not quite convinced there are really no chemicals in there, it’s still safe to say that most of the components are of natural origin and the number of additives is considerably reduced in comparison with other self tanners’ ingredients.
Vita Liberata Phenomenal is designed to produce a tan that lasts four times longer than regular tans if you apply it three layers in a row. I wouldn’t say the colour is very long lasting but after I applied it two coats I must admit my skin looked bronzed longer than with any other self tanner I’ve used, around seven days. If you like an intense tan you have to apply it at least twice as with one layer only the tan is very soft and it will last just like most of the self-tanners, between three and five days.
What is really phenomenal about this product is the texture. It comes in a dark brown mousse which is so airy and lightweight that you don’t even feel it on your skin and it spreads with so little effort. The Vita Liberata mitt is very useful as it ensures a flawless application with no streaks or tinted palms.
I recommend this self tanner not necessarily for the colour’s long lasting power but for the amazing texture, ease of application and gorgeous result! A medium to deep tan that looks great and doesn’t fade in patches.
If you are looking for an odourless, less chemical, natural looking tan then this is definitely a product for you!
