If a basic cleansing and a moisturizer can be enough to keep my skin looking healthy, when it comes to fighting the signs of age I just feel the need of a more targeted product. I’ve been looking for a good anti ageing serum for a while now because serums contain higher concentration of active ingredients than creams and are a lot more efficient in softening fine lines.
I’ve tried lots of advanced formula serums packed with expensive, sophisticated ingredients and I really wanted to like them as I do want the best for my skin. But most of them were either too sticky or produced all kinds of reactions like burning sensations or small irritations.
I’ve recently discovered this miracle in a bottle from Helena Rubinstein and I adore it! Prodigy Powercell Youth Grafter Serum works amazingly well on my skin and has never caused any reactions. I’m on the second bottle and as much as I like to try new products I prefer to stick to this one when it comes to serums because my skin never looked better since I’m using it!
The texture is so refined, a combination of a serum and a soft lotion which feels light and silky and sinks into the skin quite fast. It doesn’t leave a greasy film, it’s not drying, sticky or pore clogging. It does contain fragrance but the smell is soft and luxurious, not overpowering.
I am using it morning and night and I can see the difference, my skin looks more hydrated and glowy and fine lines are visibly diminished.
The ingredients list is complex, I can’t exactly tell which one is really precious but I know it contains vegetal stem cells which are supposed to regenerate and rejuvenate the skin. It sounds pretty innovative! I like it! 🙂
For those of you who like to invest in your skincare this serum is incredibly good! It doesn’t come cheap though, so it’s better to try a sample first because every skin type is particular and may be sensitive to some ingredients.

Are you still using this product? I am in my late 40-s and wonder if it would be effective enough for my age group?

Hi Natalia, sorry for the late reply 🙂 I haven’t used this for a long time but it is a very good and hydrating serum, especially if you are in your late 40-s. If your skin is on the drier side, I would also recommend you this one . It is a bit more emolient than Powercell. Hope this helps! xx
