NEW IN : CLARINS EVERLASTING YOUTH FLUID

clarins everlasting youth fluid review

Clarins Everlasting Youth Fluid was released a few months back I think but I've managed to try it only recently and I can't believe I haven't written this post sooner because I absolutely love this foundation! Beautifully light, easy to blend and gives the most amazing radiance to the skin. This is both a makeup and skincare kind of product that contains nourishing argan oil, organic oat sugars, chicory to boost collagen and micro pearls to prevent dullness and illuminate the complexion.

The finish is superb, softly luminous without being shiny and surprisingly this is not dewy as I would have expected but rather semi matte I'd say. It does get a bit dewy as you wear it however it doesn't turn greasy. I love that it makes my skin look smooth and leaves a nice, natural glow on the face that makes you look rested and fresh.

There is no powdery finish, no sitting in fine lines and creases and the longevity is good enough. It lasts for about two to five ours before it slightly begins to fade but it wears off evenly without leaving patches.

If I were to compare it with Dior Forever Skin Glow Foundation ( review here ) this is less thick in consistency. The texture is so light and airy with a beautiful silky feel and it glides so easily onto the skin especially if you apply it with a brush. I use Zoeva 102 Silk Finish brush and it blends out seamlessly with very little effort.

The coverage is pretty good for a foundation with such a thin formula, it tones down redness, it even conceals under eye dark circles and small imperfections if you apply two layers. It is so easy to build up while remaining natural looking on the skin.

If there is one thing I don't like about this foundation though is the fact that it's heavily fragranced. The scent is nice but a bit too strong for my taste. However the smell fades shortly after application and even though my skin is sometimes sensitive to fragrance, this foundation hasn't caused me any irritations so far.

Other than this, I love this product and I think this is an amazing option for anyone wanting to look as though they have healthy, luminous and even-toned skin. It's probably not the best choice for oilier skin but for people with normal to dry skin who like an unperceivable  decent coverage, ultra light texture and a slight glow this is just perfect.
