If there is one skincare product I enjoy the most it’s a good hydrating mask! I love the feeling of layering a rich, nourishing mask on my skin for ten minutes, relax and just let my mind set free of all plans, goals and stressful tasks. It’s a ritual I like to follow at least once a week as both my mind and my skin will have long term benefits.
Bobbi Brown Skin Nourish Mask is the latest addition to my skin care routine and I can say is my favourite one of all the face masks I’ve tried over the time. This is a mask designed to smooth and nourish normal to dry skin and reduce the look of fine lines. It also contains hydrating emollients and natural oils, Coral Grass and Green Algae extracts which aim to lock in moisture, boost collagen production and strengthen skin’s protective barrier.
The texture is thick and consistent but once applied on the skin it melts in and feels quite lightweight and I like that it does not leave my skin oily or greasy. And it smells lovely, it has a soft, citrus-fruity scent I simply adore!
What I love most about this mask is that it provides very good hydration while letting my skin breathe. With most face masks for dry skin, which usually have a rich texture, I always have the feeling that my skin does not breathe while I have a mask layer on until I wipe it off. While Bobbi Brown nourishing mask is so airy and fine on the skin that I often use it instead of a night cream because I don’t feel the need to remove it. It gets absorbed very well and it instantly calms and relaxes tight skin.
When my skin is really dry I use a generous coat all over my face and after ten minutes I remove the excess with a tissue. Or I just apply a very small amount, like I would apply my moisturiser, massage it in and leave it on overnight and when I wake up my skin feels so soft, plumped and hydrated.
I really love this mask and I do recommend it if you have dull or dry skin.
