BODY BEAUTY PRODUCTS I’VE BEEN RECENTLY LOVING

It's been a while since I've done a beauty favourites post and today I thought to share with you a few new recent discoveries I've added to my routine. I've been testing lots of products in the past few months, mainly skincare because with everything currently going on I haven't really been using makeup that often. Today I am rounding up some of the best body beauty products I've been using so far this summer and would recommend without hesitation if you're thinking about a pamper session to help you refresh your body and mood.

BIOTHERM BATH THERAPY DELIGHTING BLEND BODY CLEANSING GEL

This shower gel has become an essential part of my body cleansing routine because of how incredible it smells and how soft it leaves my skin. The formula is infused with extracts of grapefruit and sage combined with rose, vetiver and musk. The scent is fresh and slightly bitter, the top notes smell like lemon and grapefruit peel but without being too citrusy. It is lovely and it instantly makes me feel energised and refreshed. I find it the perfect aroma therapy for hot summer days, it practically makes the ten-minutes shower a luxurious spa-like experience.

BIOTHERM LE DEODORANT BY LAIT CORPOREL

I've been using this for years, it is one of the best smelling deodorants I have tried. It keeps me smelling fresh and clean all day and the fragrance is so refined. It has almost the same citrusy feel like Biotherm Lait Corporel Le Beurre, is just a little softer.

I don't know if this will be discontinued, I really hope it won't but for some reason this is not available in Greece. I always order it on line, here. I have tried also other deodorants from Biotherm like Deo Pure and Deo Pure Natural Protect and they are good but I didn't like them as much as I like this one. If you find it, try it, you will love it.

BIOTHERM LAIT CORPOREL LE BEURRE

I usually use this body butter when my skin feels particularly dry and needs extra moisture and nourishment because this has an intensely hydrating formula. The texture is rich but without being heavy at all, it require some massage before it absorbs however it melts into the skin beautifully and does not leave the skin sticky or greasy feeling.

The formula is enriched with 15% shea butter, this is the second main ingredient on the composition list, along with apricot kernel oil and plankton extract, renowned for their emollient and skin smoothing properties. It also smells delicious, the fragrance is citrusy, juicy and slightly bitter and is quite strong, I often enjoy using it instead of perfume because the smell lasts on the skin almost all day.

BIOTHERM BATH THERAPY INVIGORATING BLEND BODY CREAM

This is my go to moisturiser on really hot summer days because it has such a cooling effect on me. The smell reminds me a little of a Mojito cocktail really but after I apply in on the skin it transforms into an interesting and quite unusual scent. It has a crisp and icy type of freshness with a hint of lime and mint and a mild ginger undertone. I don't know if it's the right description but it is so refreshing and chilling. I also love the the texture because it sinks into the skin in seconds and doesn't leave you feeling greasy aftwerwards. It's perfect if you live in a humid climate.

LÓCCITANE PAMPLEMOUSSE RHUBARB SOAP

Another cleansing product I've been adoring lately. It is part of the skincare line curated by Pierre Herme, a famous master pastry chef known as "the Picasso of pastry". However this is not a gourmand fragranced soap as you'd normally expect, it's fresh and gorgeous, a perfect combination of fruity, bitter and zesty. I don't know how to really describe it but it smells amazing. It's enriched with extracts of grapefruit combined with rhubarb, musc spicy and some woodsy notes and it's so uplifting and energising! Really love it.

HERMES UN JARDIN SUR LE NIL

Un Jardin Sur Le Nil is one of the few fragrances I own that I really enjoy wearing on hot weather. It is literally like a breath of fresh air from a garden without being flowery. It's airy, green, sparkly and slightly crisp but very delicate at the same time, with a gorgeous soft musky undertone - it is the sort of bright freshness that tends to smell expensive and sophisticated. Absolutely wonderful fragrance with such an interesting blend of notes! I love to use it especially in the morning after shower, it's so energising and uplifting and is subtle enough not to overpower the senses. This is more of a skin scent that wraps your body in a luxurious soft veil of spa-like smell which lifts your mood instantly. I like to use it after I apply Biotherm Invigorating Blend Body Cream as they have some similar notes that blend amazingly well together. This is my favourite combination for fresh summer mornings.
